When Christopher Woityra’s daughter, Taylor Beth, died Sept. 10, 2014 at age 21 due to complications stemming from treating for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, he had a peace symbol carved as a monument.
That monument was stolen from his home on July 6, and now he needs a pine log to replace the tribute to Taylor Beth, who attended Lake Orion High School.
The pine log needs to be 42 inches in diameter and at least five-foot tall.
Christopher Woityra hosts a pig roast fundraiser at 3 p.m. Sept. 17 to help with Taylor Beth’s daughter’s, Lachlan, college trust fund. The event features the band WTF and is at 3100 S. Sashabaw Rd. in Brandon Twp.For details call 248-705-3324. -J.N.
