Pine log needed to help replace stolen monument

When Christopher Woityra’s daughter, Taylor Beth, died Sept. 10, 2014 at age 21 due to complications stemming from treating for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, he had a peace symbol carved as a monument.
That monument was stolen from his home on July 6, and now he needs a pine log to replace the tribute to Taylor Beth, who attended Lake Orion High School.
The pine log needs to be 42 inches in diameter and at least five-foot tall.
Christopher Woityra hosts a pig roast fundraiser at 3 p.m. Sept. 17 to help with Taylor Beth’s daughter’s, Lachlan, college trust fund. The event features the band WTF and is at 3100 S. Sashabaw Rd. in Brandon Twp.For details call 248-705-3324. -J.N.Taylor Beth monument
