Barbara Ann Ealy of Lake Orion passed away surrounded by her family on Dec. 4, 2022. She was 79 years old.
Barbara was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Raymond and Joyce Plouhar; she was the beloved wife of the late Lynn; loving mother of Brian Ealy and Brad Ealy; proud grandmother of Beth (Rafael) Moreno and Jamie Dunn; great-grandmother of Sofia, Rafael, Megan and Madeline; dear sister of Nancy (late David) McMurray, Mike (Diane) Plouhar, Tim (Pam) Plouhar, Karen (Gary) Plouhar and the late Tony (late Cindy) Plouhar; and godmother of Aric Plouhar.
Barbara is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her best friend and gambling buddy Ann Hampton and Della.
Barbara retired after 37 years of service from Lake Orion Transportation. She enjoyed spending time with family, picnics at the beach house, bingo, casinos and the Michigan Lottery. She will be missed by many bingo friends, Lake Orion Transportation friends and countless others.
A funeral service was held on Dec. 6, 2022 at Modetz Funeral Home in Orion Township.
