Colleen Campbell, a 2018 graduate of Lake Orion High School, received her championship ring Sept. 18 as a member of 2021 Grand Valley State University NCAA Division 2 National Championship Indoor Track and Field team. Campbell also received an All-Academic Award and is currently pursuing a degree in business.

Colleen was a four time All State pole vaulter on the Dragon track team, two times indoor and two times outdoors. She also holds the LOHS girls pole vault school record at 12 feet 2 inches high and qualified to Nationals twice while in high school. She has cleared a personal best of 12 feet 7 5/8 inch in college and has been an all-conference athlete while attending GVSU and the University of Dayton.
