Lake Orion High School’s girls basketball team had a busy week last week with three non-league match ups.

On Feb. 4 the ladies hit the road to take on Notre Dame Prep, leaving with a 42-32 win under their belt.

Freshman Kylie Heck led the Dragons in scoring with 10 points. Junior and captain Meghan Marshall and sophomore Kacy Lauer each added nine points each. Melissa Normand contributed three points and 14 rebounds in the winning effort.

The ladies hosted Romeo High School on Feb. 6 where they narrowly came out on top securing the 38-37 win.

The ladies finished their week at Royal Oak High School.

The OAA Red division team didn’t hold back in delivering a big loss to the Dragons 47-33.

Junior Kendall Robertson led the Dragons with eight points. Heck added another six with Normand and Madeleine Ebbert dropping another five.

Lake Orion is now 1-6 in the OAA White and 6-9 overall.

They head to Avondale High School for another league game Feb. 11 after Review press time. — M.K.
