Varsity boys Lacrosse improves to 8-2 overall

Lake Orion boys lacrosse continued their winning streak with another OAA Red win against Troy Athens 15-10 on April 25.
At halftime the Dragons found themselves down 6-5 at the end of the first half but came back in the second 10 goals to Athens’ 4.
Hunter McCarty lead the Dragons in scoring with four goals.
Also contributing to the scoreboard were Dakota Zehler, Kyle Loken and Sam Parillo who each scored two goals a piece.
Dario Ruffini, Nicolo Ruffini and Joe Cady all added a goal as well.
Jack MacLeod was in the net for Lake Orion and had seven saves.
On April 27 the boys headed to East Grand Rapids High School and left with another win this time 6-4.
McCarty lead the Dragons in scoring again with two goals.
A surprise goal by defender Matt MacLeod in the third period gave Lake Orion the lead Zehler, Parillo and Willy Houser each added a goal as well.
The boys are now 8-2 overall and 3-0 in the OAA Red. They take on Clarkston on April 30 for another OAA Red match up. — M.K.
