Wolves eke out overtime win against Troy

Clarkston beat Troy of OAA III 62-57 on Feb. 20 in overtime at Clarkston.
Dan Owens sent the game to overtime with a three-point shot with only 0:10 left in regulation.
The Wolves took the game from there, outscoring the Colts 9-4 in the extra session for the win.
‘We weren’t situated in the game. Troy played very well. I’m not sure our kids were ready to play. Give credit to Troy, they took it to us for 90 percent of the game and we were fortunate enough to win,? Clarkston coach Dan Fife said.
‘They did a good job on our team.?
Troy coach Gary Fralick said the Colts did all they could to contain Owens who scored 29 points.
‘We made it very hard for him to get good looks,? Fralick said.
‘Unfortunately, we couldn’t pull off the upset. We were there and we had our opportunities. We just couldn’t get it done,? Fralick said.
