I have been a resident of Orion Township for 24 years and continue to be active. I have watched our township mature into what it is today, and the maturity continues. Major decisions have been made with minimal or no input from the tax payers of Orion Township, e.g. Single Trash Hauler, New Construction of the Township Hall, to name a few. It is only fair and just to have public input before major decisions are made.

Consistently, during election cycles, on the ballot are new millage proposals. I’m not opposed if the need is existing, especially for health and safety matters. However; there needs to be balanced and responsible development in our community to bring in meaningful tax revenue so that residents can keep more of their hard-earned money in their pockets and perhaps then the mileage increases will not be needed.

I am experienced, responsible, and trustworthy. It has been written that the “DREAM TEAM” has been identified. I encourage you to visit this Facebook page. You DO have a VOICE. You decide if you want more of the same or if you have “HAD ENOUGH.”
