The deadline to file for anyone interested in running for the Lake Orion Board of Education in the May 2 election is Feb. 7.
Paperwork must be filed, in person, by 4 p.m. at the Oakland County Election Division.
School board members are elected to four-year terms. On the Lake Orion board, two members have terms expiring in 2006.
