We have known Misty Morris since she was about 18 years old, when she worked as an office support person in a busy real estate office. Even as a young adult, fresh out of high school, Misty demonstrated exemplary skills, dedication and professionalism.

She is a lifelong Dragon, born and raised in Lake Orion. She started school at Blanche Sims, continuing on in the Lake Orion school system until graduation in 1998.

We were always impressed with her computer knowledge and her ability to keep everyone organized while she facilitated the needs of others.

Misty married her high school sweetheart, Jim Morris, and has dedicated her life to raising a beautiful family in union with her supportive husband. All three of the Morris boys attend Lake Orion Schools.

Misty is very active in her community. She has done much to support the schools. We remember her being very hands on with the annual Christmas Bazaar at Webber.

In addition, she has been very active with sports, directing and supporting her sons in discipline, as they become well rounded athletes and well rounded people, in general.

She works full time and somehow Misty manages to garden and can her produce on top of everything else she does!

As the rule goes, when you want to get something done, give the job to the busiest person.

Misty would do a great job on the school board. She has our endorsement! (And pass me Misty’s pickles, please!)
