The organizers for Clear Lake Elementary’s Building-Wide Event have once again out done themselves.
Staff and students were treated to a day full of their favorite school activities ? ‘Especially Specials,? a day focused on the special courses (music, art, gym, etc.) students take throughout the school year.
The day included presentations by: Jesse Swartzmiller on pottery, Jan Flynn and The Oxford Middle School World Drums, Sara Teague on Lacrosse, Mrs. Pollard on life in Cuba, coaches and players from Oakland University’s basketball program on ‘the game,? Mr. Hazlett’s band jazz band Mixed Bizness, Linda Robinson on art, and Yvonne Healy on storytelling.
Some of the other presentations were on Spanish, hockey and golf, and additional performances included a Mariachi band and a harpist.
