Scott Taylor is currently running for re-election for Lake Orion Community Schools board, and he has absolutely earned my vote.
Many times over.
Scott lives and breathes Lake Orion, and his number one concern throughout his time on the board is what is best for our kids. His experience on the board, and his ability to clearly communicate between the community he represents and the superintendent and the other members of the board.
He brings conventional wisdom to the board through his profession as the Director of Business Development, he fully understands the fiscal demands any organization may face, and has gone to great lengths to help ensure we have the funding we need, both through the sinking fund and the most recent bond that was passed.
One of the things that impressed me most about him was the fund-raising drive for the Miracle League Field at Friendship Park. As is indicative with everything he does, Scott saw a problem and took the necessary steps to solve the problem. His devotion to this community is unwavering.
I have two children currently at LOHS, and my oldest daughter graduated from LOHS a few years ago. I can say with confidence that I have a clear understanding of the issues my children have been facing, and Scott Taylor has been a focal point of communication to help us navigate the most uncertain of times.
Scott Taylor takes the time to listen to all sides of every issue, researches thoroughly, and makes informed decisions based on fact.
Our schools have been in great hands with Scott Taylor on the board, and I will be voting for Scott Taylor to ensure it remains that way.
I strongly endorse and ask you to vote for Scott Taylor for Lake Orion Community Schools board.
