June 4 was a day filled with plants, books, games and pint-sized pirates in Addison Township.
The Friends of the Addison Township Public Library conducted their 3rd Annual Plant Exchange & Used Book Sale while the Addison Township Parks and Recreation Committee hosted Labodie Park Day.
At the Friends? event, residents gathered to swap plants and gardening tips while perusing through tables and tables of used books. Master gardeners were on hand to answer any and all plant-related questions.
Later at Labodie Park Day, kids got to don pirate gear, like bandanas and gold earrings, while participating in a balloon toss, craft projects and a treasure hunt that would make Captain Hook jealous.
