Oxford pupil count up 200

By every indication, the number of students attending classes both physically and virtually in Oxford Community Schools has increased.
Linda Lewis, the executive assistant for curriculum and district communication, said a ‘cursory review of the data indicates enrollment is up more than 200 FTEs (full time equivalent students),? in an e-mail to the Leader .
When this reporter sent questions to Lewis via e-mail seeking more detailed information, Lewis responded, ‘In the interest of providing accurate information, the district is releasing only the audited count. When it becomes available, you will receive a breakdown by school, including the virtual academy, as well as school of choice count.
‘Official, audited numbers will be released on or about November 19,? she wrote in the e-mail.
