On a recent Tiger

I’ve been a Detroit Tigers fan a long time. It was long ago when I wrote to team owner Walter Briggs, Sr. and asked if I could try out for a pitcher’s post.
I was probably 15-years-old.
I got the kindest, warming thank you from the Tiger organization.
The thought came back to me Saturday night when the team took the field against Boston, I think.
Everything has to be so politically correct. For this game, all the Tiger uniforms had their names spelled ‘Tigres?.
The announcer said it had to do with recognizing Latin or Mexican people.
Before I heard that, I’d called a popular tavern in Oxford. I asked if they had the Tigers game on one of their multiple tvs,
The man in charge that night said yes, ‘but no one seems to be watching it?
Have a great season, Tigres.?

Ever have surgery and remember nothing about it?
In 2013, I had a hip replaced. I remember nothing about it, though daughter Luan said I have a scar back there.
A couple of months ago dental surgeon Dr. John wanted to know the medicine I was given for that 2013 work. Must be one of my mouthy kids told him.
Dr. John got rid of the two molars before I got back to him.
