Ortonville – The Brandon Township Public Library is celebrating their fifth birthday.
The library moved into a new building at 304 South St. in Dec. 2000. The public is invited to mark the occasion by joining library staff from 1-2 p.m., Dec. 3, as magician Jason Hudy puts on a show. Birthday cake will be served at 2 p.m.
‘We’re excited about the five years we’ve been in this new building,? said library public relations director Zoe Pearson. ‘It’s gone by in a blink. We’re excited about the program and the staff we have now and the services we can offer the community.?
The party will end in time for citizens to attend the Christmas in the Village parade, which begins at 3 p.m. downtown.
