The Lakeville Cemetery Auxiliary Society sponsored Addison Township’s Memorial Day Celebration on May 29, 2004.
The event honored area veterans with a flag raising, special readings, 21-gun salute and Taps. Mr. and Mrs. John Sutphin and representatives from the Auxiliary placed memorial wreaths in honor of our soldiers.
The Auxiliary would like to thank everyone who made the day possible, especially to those veterans to whom the flags are dedicated.
Donations to the Auxilliary will be used to purchase flag holders for the veterans? graves. If anyone knows of a veteran’s grave which has not received a flag, please contact a member of the Auxilliary.
