Lake Orion Lions to hold Open House April 13

The Lake Orion Lions Club is holding an Open House on April 13 at 7 p.m. at Johnny Black’s Public House on Baldwin Road. Join the Lions for hors d’oeuvres and learn about what Lions do to serve the community.

The Lake Orion Lions are strong supporters of the Orion Community with their large annual fundraising events such as the Jubilee in June, the Christmas for Everyone dinner and auction and the Christmas basket program where they deliver fresh and packaged food to families in need.

The Lions also host Taste of the Town, which is expected to return in September and the Lion Races scheduled for May 7, both of which are at Boulder Pointe.

In between fundraisers, the Lions Club collects used eyeglasses to send to processing locations where they are checked and cleaned and then sent to various countries to help children and adults see better.

The Lions also support Bear Lake Camp for Blink Youths and Leader Dogs for the Blind.

If you are interested in getting involved with the Lions, meeting new people or having fun while serving others come out to the Lions open house April 13.

To RSVP call 248-975-6378 or visit lakeorionlions.org and register.
