Lady Dragon track and field fall to Clarkston and Oxford High Schools

Lake Orion High School’s girls varsity track and field team headed to Oxford High School on April 6, falling to the Wildcats 80 to 48.

Though the ladies came up short, there were still some outstanding performances.

Senior Alayna Tisch won both 100m dash and the 300m hurdles and anchored the winning 400m relay, along with seniors Natalie Keogh, (2nd in the 100m dash), Macayla Long and sophomore Cadence Teasley.

Sophomore Hannah DeRoeck won the 1600m and 800m runs.

Sophomore Sofi Sally was 2nd in both the 100m and 300m hurdles.

Senior Bella Monterosso took second in both the high jump and long jump.

Sophomore Bella DeLong was 2nd in the shot put, and 3rd in the discus.

The ladies hosted Clarkston High School on April 13, falling to the Wolves 68 to 60.

Tisch continued her winning ways, with victories in the 100m dash and the 300m hurdles. She was joined again by Long, Keogh and Teasley in the winning 400m relay. Tisch then was part of the winning relay with Sally, DeRoeck and Long.

Senior Elizabeth Hoffman won the shot put, with DeLong taking 2nd.
