The Lake Orion ladies hit the road on Dec. 17 to take on the Rochester Adams Highlanders.

The Dragons had a difficult time keeping up with the Highlanders, falling behind 17-3 in the first half.

However, Lake Orion was able to pick up the pace and give Adams a run for their money, fighting back and ending the game with a 34-30 loss.

Junior Kendall Robertson led the Dragons with 15 points, while freshman Melissa Normand pitched in seven.

The loss drops Lake Orion to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the OAA White.

The ladies are back on Jan. 6 at home against Avondale High School. — M.K.
