Lacrosse team stuck in a rut

The Oxford lacrosse team is now 1-6 overall after last week’s 1-4 loss to Romeo and 2-3 loss to West Bloomfield. ‘Flat out, we played bad,? said coach Brian Edwards.
Romeo’s good defense and Oxford’s inability to sustain any pressure on offense lead to the Wildcat’s downfall.
Freshman Paul Elezaj scored the lone goal for the match. Against West Bloomfield Monday night, they were 2-0 going into the fourth quarter with goals made by seniors Chris Hickey and Adam McLoskey, but were eventually defeated.
They travel to Lapeer West on Thursday for a 6:30 p.m. game.
