The Wildcats Varsity Football team might not have made this year’s state playoffs, but 10 members of the squad can claim they made all-league honors.
The Cats had one first team all conference selection, one second team all conference and eight honorable mentions.
The defense led the nominations with seven selections, which included All-conference First-Team defensive linebacker Gary Wurtz and All-conference second team Defense Back Gabe Grifka.
Honorable mention for the defense were Defense Linemen Casey Cervantez and Scott McIsaac, Defensive Linebacker Prescott Line and Defensive Backs Matt Economou and Austin Westmoreland.
On the offensive side of the ball, Lineman Nick Hadorn and Dan Strzelecki as well as Offensive Back Bart Nolde were honorable mentions for their efforts this year.
