Dragons slip to Lahser in pool

The Lake Orion High School girls swimming and diving team were unable to come up with any first-place finishes against Lahser High School on Sept. 14, falling 125-61.
Swimming at LOHS, the Dragons recorded a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay (Erin Sutton, Emily Roesch, Perri Mitchell and Natalie Spisak) with a time of 49.03, and a second place finish in the 200 freestyle (Hannah Price) with a time of 2:11.10.
In the 200 yard individual medley, Roesch took second for the team, with a time of 2:26.97.
Jenna Dorey was second in the girls one meter diving, with a score of 146.90, for Lake Orion.
Roesch had another second place finish in the 100 fly (1:09.79).
Mitchell took second in the 100 backstroke (1:05.93).
The Lake Orion 200 freestyle relay team, consisting of Price, Nicki Dolan, Emily Loerch and Sutton, finished second with a time of 1:54.65.
The 400 freestyle relay team, made up for the Dragons of Roesch, Price, Spisak and Mitchell, finished in second with a time of 4:02.80.
Lake Orion hosts West Bloomfield on Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m., and travels to Rochester High School on Sept. 28, with a starting time of 6:30 p.m.
The Dragons will host the Oakland County Meet on Oct. 1-2.
