Orion Township employee Wendy Stiller has been granted an extension of sick and/or personal time donated to her by other township employees.
Trustees decided to extend the use of time donated by clerical and DPW union members to Stiller, originally requested because Stiller’s husband was hospitalized for a lengthy illness in January/February 2004. The donated time was to be used by May 20, 2004.
Stiller is expecting her first child in May, and asked to use the remaining donated time toward her maternity leave. Her personal time is depleted due to her husband’s illness.
The board extended the use of time for Stiller until June 30, 2004.
