Notice from Consumers Energy, 2:51 p.m. Oct. 3, 2019:

Consumers Energy has closed the southbound lane of Orion Road just south of Miller/Flint Road in Orion Township for emergency gas main repairs.

The road is reduced to one lane with flag control directing traffic through the work zone.  Motorists can expect delays and should seek an alternate route.

It is unknown when the work will be completed.
