On June 18, Independence Township Parks and Recreation held the local meet for Hershey Track & Field.
Athletes from ages 9-14 were challenged in running and field events. The first place winners now go to the State Finals held in Holt, Mich. on July 8.
Due to ongoing construction at Clarkston High School’s track, the event was held at Pierce Middle School in Waterford.
Below are the competitors who will represent the Clarkston area at the State Finals.
