Clarkston doctor new director at Beaumont

Dr. Kimberly Les, four-year Clarkston resident, has been appointed director of Orthopedic Oncology Surgery at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
Les is excited about her new position.
‘I look at it as a great opportunity to educate the residents, teach all their physicians, but most importantly taking good care of the patients,? she said.
In 1998 Les joined Beaumont’s staff as a bone cancer specialist. She made presentations across the country on a variety of topics from treatment of metastatic bone tumors to limb salvage in pediatric oncology patients.
