SYNOPSIS, REGULAR MEETING MONDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2021

Called meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All Members present. (Mike Flood Absent with notice)

Invocation given by Pastor Josh Yates All rose for Pledge of Allegiance.

Supervisor Chris Barnett honored retiring Lieutenant Dan Toth and recognized Lieutenant Darren Ofiara.

Approved payment of bills in the amount of $ $1,532,159.96 and payrolls of $363,767.30

Total disbursement of funds of $1,895,927.26.

Approved Agenda, as presented.

Approved Consent Agenda, as presented.

Approved minutes – Board Workshop, September 20, 2021, as presented.

Approved minutes – Regular Meeting, September 20, 2021, as presented.

Approved contract with Sherwood Auction Services and allowed Supervisor to execute the agreement.

Authorized Township Supervisor to enter into a three-year agreement with Aramark for refreshment services at the Municipal Complex and Sheriff Substation.

Approved Development Agreement with Milosch Leasing & Rental Inc. to govern its development of parcel number 09-26-300-014 and authorized the Township Supervisor to execute same.

Authorized the purchase of a server upgrade as quoted by I.T Right in an amount not to exceed $17,460.00

Awarded bid for Custodial Services to AmeriClean and entered into a three-year agreement for a total annual amount of $72,620.52, to start with the completion of the Municipal Complex.

Awarded bid for paving the Friendship Park Tennis/Pickleball Courts and Orion Center Trailhead Parking lot to Asphalt Specialists at a total cost not to exceed $410,000.00.

Received and filed Board notice regarding proposed joint public hearing for PC-2021-78, The Woodlands PUD on October 20, 2021.

Adopted second reading of the amendment to Ordinance 154 Licensed Marihuana Facilities, and directed the Clerk to publish.

Approved amendments to the Ordinance 154 Permit Application and Ordinance 154 renewal application.

Received and filed Oakland County Park Passes 2022.

Authorized using American Rescue Plan funding for proposed expenditures in 2021, and authorized the Township Supervisor to execute all required purchase orders and agreements for the requested items.

Received and filed Police and Fire reports, as presented.

Received and filed NOTA proposed 2022 budget, as presented.

Received and filed Orion Township Public Library 2022 budget plan, as presented.

Received and filed September 2021 Municipal Complex Executive report, as presented.

Received and filed 2021 Community survey, as presented.

Received and filed Revenue/Expenditure & Balance sheet reports, as presented.
