The Oxford Varsity boys baseball team left Brandon in the dust last Thursday with two wins.
Game one ended 11-6 and was won with solid defensive effort.
Tim Shafto had four hits, Russell Luxton had three and Chris Harper and Brandon Dugan each had three hits.
Oxford won the second game 14-2 with the help of Luxton’s pitching on the mound.
Jeremy Bukoski, Shafto, Brandon Dugan and Brad Dugan each had two hits.
‘It was another good defensive performance with a lot of quality swings at the plate,? Coach Kurt Nuss said.
The team takes on Lapeer East on their turf at 4 p.m. Thursday.
