Police seek

Goodrich – Sheriff deputies are looking for the driver of a compact to mid-size white car that struck a woman crossing Hegel Road in downtown Goodrich.
According to police reports, the 21-year-old Davison woman was leaving Cranberries Cafe at approximately 10:30 p.m. Feb. 13 when she noticed a white full-size pickup truck slowly driving eastbound on Hegel Road through the 25-mph speed limit zone.
‘She thought she had time to cross,? said Detective Sgt. Gerald (Joe) Parks, post commander of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Atlas Township Precinct.
As she crossed the street, a white vehicle’about the size of a Pontiac Grand Am’passed the truck, striking the woman with the drivers-side mirror, breaking the mirror off, and skinning her right leg with its tire. The woman, who had fallen to the ground, looked up and noticed the vehicle speeding off and running the light at M-15, where it continued, southbound.
The woman did not obtain medical treatment.
Police are looking for a small to mid-size white car missing the driver’s side mirror, and seeking witnesses, especially the driver of the white full-size pickup truck.
