Anyone with sensitive documents, magazines, light cardboard and other materials to shred can bring them to the Kroger parking lot at 540 N. Lapeer Rd. on Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sponsored by the Lake Orion UPS and Iron Mountain Shredding, the shredding event’s proceeds will benefit the K-9 Stray Rescue League of Oxford and Offering Alternative Therapies with a Smile (OATS) in Ortonville. Donations are accepted.
There is no need to remove staples or paperclips. DVD’s, CD’s, plastics and metals are not accepted. – J.G.
