Raymond Earle Crue, aged 86, of Oxford, Michigan passed away on Nov. 15 at home surrounded by loved ones.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Palmer Crue, sons Raymond Jr., (Nancy), Brian (Amy), and grandchildren Ryan, Evan, Maddie, Amelie, and Natalie.

Ray was born in San Pedro, California. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served seven years in the U.S. Submarine Service, including on the USS John Adams. He was honorably discharged and later was employed in the machine tool industry.

Ray loved being with his family, was an avid golfer, enjoyed a good game of cards, and designed and sewed beautiful quilts.

Private inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
