PUBLIC NOTICE – RECEIPT OF PUBLIC COMMENTS
APPLICATION TO HOLD
2019 LAKE ORION CHALLENGE
Onurmark Race Productions has submitted an application to the Lake Orion Village Council to use various Parking Lots (Municipal and others) and Greens Park, for the purpose of holding the 2019 Lake Orion Challenge. The Lake Orion Village Council will receive public comments on this application at its Regular Meeting of Monday, June 10, 2019. The meeting will be held at the Lake Orion Village Hall, located at 21 E. Church Street, Lake Orion, MI., beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The proposed Lake Orion Challenge dates and proposed operating hours are:
• Saturday, October 5, 2019 – 7:00 am to 10:30 am
The request includes permission to use/close various public properties/streets, as follows:
Street Closures: – none
Municipal Parks and Parking Lots
• Green’s Park
• Closed Friday October 4, 2019 at 1:00 pm to Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm
• Municipal parking lot at Orion Art Center
• Closed Friday, October 4, 2019 at 9:00 am to Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 12:00 noon
Other land usage
• Lake Orion
• Paint Creek Trail
Written comments will be accepted prior to the date and time of the meeting by mail to the Village Clerk, 21 E. Church Street, Lake Orion, MI 48362. The application and supporting documentation are available for inspection at the Village Administrative Offices located at 21 E. Church Street, Lake Orion, MI 48362 during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For additional information please contact the Village Offices at 248-693-8391.

In the spirit of compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals with a disability should feel free to contact the Village, at least three (3) business days in advance of the meeting, if requesting accommodations. The Village of Lake Orion will provide foreign language or hearing impaired interpretation services for those individuals who contact the village to request such services at least seven (7) days prior to the meeting.
