Mabel McCarty, age 95 of Lake Orion, passed away on June 15, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond McCarty in 1999, as well as by 2 grandchildren, Eric McCarty and Carra McCarty.
Mabel is survived by her loving children James (Teresita) McCarty, Deanna (William) Vernagus and David McCarty; grandchildren: Julianne (Duncan) Lindsay, Ray (Karenn) Vernagus, Kevin (Andrea) Vernagus, Amy (Greg) Smith, Chris McCarty, Nina Riggs, Philip McCarty, Melanie Allen, Bethany Laswell, Devin McCarty, Dustin McCarty, Ryan McCarty, and Emma McCarty; as well as by 22 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
A Funeral Mass took place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Rd, Lake Orion, 48362 on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 10:30 AM with visitation beginning at the church at 9:30 AM.
Interment will take place at St. Joseph Parrish Cemetery in Ubly, Michigan.
