A 19-year-old Auburn Hills woman has been arraigned on multiple charges after going on a rampage in Brandon Township, attacking her mother, trashing a vehicle and spitting at a responding deputy.
Charlene Elizabeth Wooldridge was arraigned via video July 5 on charges of assault on a police officer, domestic violence, and malicious destruction of property, in front of 52-2 District Court Judge Joseph Fabrizio. Her bond was set at $25,000 cash surety, no 10 percent. She was ordered to submit to HIV testing.
According to police reports, Brandon deputies responded at 10:09 a.m., July 4 to the 4400 block of Butternut. The complainant said her daughter, Wooldridge had arrived at the home the night before, for what her mother thought was a visit. As evening arrived, the complainant told her daughter she had to leave. Wooldridge told her mother she was not leaving and said, ‘What are you going to do about it?? The complainant decided to do nothing and go to bed.
In the morning when she woke, she found Wooldridge eating breakfast and the complainant told her daughter, ‘If you’re going to stay, you need to do the dishes and help out.? Wooldridge responded with a stream of profanities and physically attacked her mother, throwing garbage, grabbing the complainant by her arm and hair, throwing her to the floor, and began punching her in the head and face numerous times. Wooldridge then walked outside and threw large rocks into the windshield and passenger side front and rear windows of her mother’s vehicle.
The complainant said her daughter is off her medications for numerous mental conditions and that as the deputies arrived, Wooldridge said next time she will kill her mother. She then began screaming obscenities and stated to the deputies that she assaulted her mother and (destroyed) her car. When a deputy placed her in handcuffs, she became aggressive and spit in his face. Wooldridge told him she did it because she has STD (sexually transmitted disease) HIV.
Wooldridge has four prior assault convictions, including another assault on a police officer.
