When the regular season ended, the Girls Varsity Swim and Dive team found themselves in a three way tie for second with Lapeer and Holly.
Oxford lost to Lapeer, Lapeer lost to Holly and Holly lost to Oxford, which meant that where each team placed in the League meet would be their overall place in the League.
After the two day event, the Wildcats finished second to Fenton with 335 points, while Lapeer came in third with 295 points and Holly was fourth with 256.
‘Our goal at the end of last season was to close the gap between ourselves and Fenton and distance ourselves from the other teams,? said Swim Coach Jackie Boswell. ‘Despite a challenging season with illness and injuries, we were able to do just that and I am so proud of all of the swimmers and divers.?
