Webber students give the gift of reading

Students at Webber Elementary helped give the gift of reading to a school in Ohio that needed it.
The school, located in Ottawa, Ohio, lost all of their school books in traumatic flooding that hit their town over the summer, prompting Webber students to collect 4,093 new and gently used books, as well as gift cards.
‘The Webber family was extremely generous,? said Webber Principal Sarah Manzo.
According to Manzo, Mrs. Lazzara’s fifth grade class collected the most books with over 950 books, and with it, won a class pizza party as well as taking home bragging rights.
‘Thank you to the entire Webber community for their generous donations,? Manzo added.
