Last Wednesday, students at Lakeville Elementary learned how to prevent bullying from the musical group The Smudge Fundaes.
Led by Canadian residents Sandie Thomson and Suzanne Nicks, The Smudge Fundaes used fun songs and skits to teach the children about friendship skills, strategies against bullying and how to build relationships.
At the end of the assembly, the kids got to build a Friendship Cake, made with honesty, respect, sharing and kindness.
