The Dragons avenged an April 25 shutout at home by winning a tightly contested 2-1 contest at Troy on May 4.
Rachel Bemman scored goals in both halves for Lake Orion, who improved to 2-2-1 in league play.
The Dragons then took an excusion from the OAA I. They first traveled to Flint for the Cavalier Soccer Invitational on May 6, where they kept up their winning ways.
The team routed Saginaw Valley Lutheran, scoring five goals from five different players to take a 5-0 halftime lead before cruising through a scoreless second half.
Rachel Isreal, Bemman, Kaitlynn Young, Margaret Verespie and Anne Sauer accounted for the five goals.
The squad then jumped out to a 2-0 lead versus Flint Carman Ainsworth in the championship game, before holding on for 2-1 victory.
Bemman and Young were the goal scorers for LO and Ashley Shugar made a half-dozen saves.
The Dragons returned home for a May 8 date with Howell.
LO looked impressive from start to finish, turning a 2-0 halftime lead into a 7-0 rout. Bemman scored two goals to pace the Dragons.
The 8th ranked Dragons are now 11-2-2 on the season.
