Students at Lakeville Elementary learned how to put the ‘D? in Detroit Basketball after Steve Moreland, one of the coaches for the Pistons, visited the school on Thursday.
Moreland spoke to the kids about the importance of being on time, being a good listener, being a good person and taking pride in their work.
Five lucky kids also got to don Pistons jerseys and scrimmage against five Lakeville teachers.
At the end of the assembly, Moreland presented the school with an official plaque from the Pistons.
