Goodrich’s girls cross country team continued their dominance with a first-place finish in the Division 2 portion of the Flushing Invitational Sept. 29.
The Martians finished with 16 points, well ahead of second-place Bath (140). Goodrich placed five competitors in the top ten, including the top four placers.
Kaitlin O’Mara won the invite with a time of 11:35, while twin sister Kayla O’Mara was second at 11:46. Kelsey Meyers placed third (11:49), Kelsey Krych fourth (11:51), and Mary Haiderer sixth (12:15).
Rounding out the Goodrich unit were Sam Minkler (12th, 12:55) and Laura Haiderer (15th, 13:23).
The Goodrich boys team placed fourth at the Flushing invite with 208 points. Jeremy Gauthier was the Martians? leading runner, placing fifth overall with a time of 11:13.
