Springfield Township’s newest business offers residents a place to receive top-notch care for those delicate cleaning items.
Earl’s Cleaners, located at 9768 Dixie Highway, provides professional cleaning services for all clothing items.
In addition, the business offers shirt laundry, wedding gown preservation, drapery cleaning, comforter cleaning and professional alterations.
‘We provide a high lever of service,? said owner Dimitri Polychronou. ‘Every piece is gone through by hand by myself and then taken to Clawson where my father goes through and pre-spots the item by hand.
‘It’s not unusual to clean something two or three times to make sure our customer gets the best care possible. We’re very meticulous about the quality of cleaning.?
Earl’s Cleaners has been family owned and operated in Clawson since the 1940’s.
The Polychronou family purchased the established in 1975.
Dimitri Polychronou decided to open the newest branch on Nov. 1.
When customers go into the store, they won’t be assisted by just anyone, they will receive the best service from the owner himself.
‘I always go out of my way for my customers,? said Polychronou. ‘We can handle emergencies whenever possible.?
Earl’s Cleaners offers normal next day service; however, Polychronou may request extra time for heavily soiled items.
Same day service is sometimes available for emergency situations.
