Oprah in Orion

Blink and you probably would have missed her…if you even knew she was in town at all.
Oprah Winfrey made a brief, surprise visit to the Orion Assembly Plant on Sept. 2, for a tour of the plant. No government officials or media were notified beforehand that she would be stopping by.
‘I can tell you what you have heard is correct,? said Orion Assembly Plant Communications Director Dan Flores, in response to whether or not Winfrey was actually there.
Winfrey spent about 90 minutes at the plant, walking the assembly line, where the new mid-size Pontiac G6 sedan is being built. Winfrey also visited a Target store while in the area.
A spokesperson for Winfrey said the Chicago-based talk show host was visiting Detroit.
