A reorganization meeting of the Lake Orion Community Schools Foundation will take place May 6, 6:30 p.m. at the Lake Orion School District Board office, 315 North Lapeer Street in Lake Orion.
Some parents in the community are looking to reactivate the foundation as a way to help bring extra dollars in the school district to fund special projects. Anyone interested is invited to attend.
Foundations are typically formed to seek out revenues from charitable organizations, businesses or to sponsor fundraisers.
