Senior named ‘Children’s Champion?

Goodrich – Goodrich High School senior Jake Custer recently received the Priority Children’s ‘Outstanding Youth Children’s Champion? award.
Jake, a student representative on the Goodrich Board of Education, has served two years as the school’s representative to the Greater Flint Youth Leadership program, is on the ABC12 Teen TV Program Planning committee, serves as student ambassador to Michigan Representative Dave Robertson, is a student representative for Youth in Government and is on the Health Curriculum Board.
Along with multiple school involvements, Jake has maintained a 3.90 Grade Point Average while serving on Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), participating in High School Challenge, and pursuing college classes as a dual-enrolled student with advanced placement.
