LO Band Boosters hosting sixth mattress fundraiser on April 6
LAKE ORION — Lake Orion Band Boosters is hosting its sixth annual mattress fundraiser at Lake Orion High School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 6.
The Commons area inside LOHS will be turned into a mattress showroom during the fundraiser, where those looking to replace their bed will be able to try over 25 different mattress styles in all sizes. Each will be priced below retail value, according to a band boosters press release.
Mattresses come with a full-factory warranty and are made to order. Delivery is free, and mattresses will be available three-to-four weeks after the fundraiser. Simmons Beautyrest, Malouf, Therapedic and other name brands will be on display.
Customers will also be able to browse and purchase adjustable power bases, convertible chairs, luxury pillows, foundations, mattress protectors and premium sheets.
All forms of payment are accepted, and financing options will be available.
The fundraiser supports the school district’s instrumental music department. Lake Orion Band Boosters is a nonprofit and will earn funds from every mattress purchase.
The 100% volunteer organization’s budget is fully-funded through fundraising activities and sponsorships. It supports the band program at LOHS, Oakview, Scripps and Waldon Middle Schools. -J.G.
