Wolves head into districts

Kickers head into their last week of the regular season after a win over Andover.
Zech Moore scored first in the October 6 game. Erik McEntee finished off the competition with a goal of his own ending the game, 2-0.
‘We played well,? said Boys Varsity Soccer Coach Adam Bican.
The boys fought through sideways rain and the fall wind to get the win.
‘The conditions were crazy,? said Bican. ‘It’s Michigan weather so it’s alright.?
Connor Hall stood out during the game adding a great performance.
‘He played fantastic,? added Bican.
The game helped the boys assess where they need to be as they head into districts and plan to continue getting better with every game.
‘We need this week coming up to make some adjustments and get ready for Rochester Adams in the first round of districts,? said Bican.
The Wolves have the advantage this week hosting Brandon on Wednesday and Troy on Friday.
‘Troy is a good team,? Bican said. ‘They have already clinched the league. It will be interesting to see what happens Troy is one of the top teams in the state.?
After the Wolves from the weekend, they head off against Adams in the first round of districts.
‘We are very confident,? said Bican. ‘We match up well and it will be an extremely hard-fought game. They are a better team when we faced them last time.?
The boys tied the game, 2-2.
Since then Adams has made adjustmenst and equally knows what to expect from Clarkston.
‘I have a smart group of boys they are focused on Rochester Adams, and Adams alone,? said Bican. ‘It should be fun.?
The game against Troy begins at 5 p.m. on Friday.
The boys head to Adams on Monday and play at 7 p.m.
