Lake Orion’s Police Chief Jerry Narsh said his final farewells on Friday night during a retirement party at the former home of the Lake Orion Police Department, now 313 Pizza.

The upstairs portion of the restaurant was filled to the brim with community members and village officials excited to enjoy the evening and give their well wishes to the former police chief.

“Thank you so much…Everybody here tonight, you guys are all my friends,” Narsh said to the happy crowd. “This is been the greatest chapter of my life. It’s the hardest thing to leave but it was just the right time…Lake Orion is the safest it’s ever been. That’s been my dream my whole life…This has been my life, it’s been my dream, you helped raise me, you made me the chief that I was.” — M.K.
