Timothy J. Kempf, also known as Tim, passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 79, in Pontiac, Michigan.

He was born on October 7, 1943, in Saginaw, Michigan, to William L. Kempf and Kathleen (Coffman) Kempf. Tim attended Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, MI, and later went on to attend Delta College.
Tim was a Merchandise Manager for KMart Corp. for 26 years. He was a dedicated employee who took great pride in his work.

During retirement, Tim enjoyed working at Bald Mountain Golf Course for 16 years. Tim was also an active member of the community. He served as the past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles where he was a member for over 35 years. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, reading about history and spending time with family.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Berry) Kempf, his two sons, Scot (Sue) Kempf and Erik (Kelly) Kempf, as well as his grandchildren Philip (Lauren) Tibitoski, Andrew Tibitoski, Gabriella Kempf, Brad (Nicole) Pelton, Brittany Pelton, Skyler Kempf, and several great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings, William (Andrea) Kempf and Jackie Powell.

He was preceded in death by his father, William L. Kempf, his mother, Kathleen (Coffman) Kempf, his brother James F. Kempf, and his brother Thomas M. Kempf.

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at the Orion Oxford Eagles from 1-4 p.m. The Fraternal Order of Eagles is located at 317 Clarkston Road, Lake Orion, MI 48362.
