Thanksgiving dinner was great. It was a very festive day and a good time was had by all.
We’d like to thank our employees and loyal customers who donated their time and money. The Lake Orion Lions Club, Lake Orion Sunrise Rotary Club, The R.O.M.E.O.’s, Meijer’s of Oxford, Caramagno Foods, Leonardo’s Produce, Tom Stefanek Dist., Leonard’s Syrup, Sam’s Club, International Baking Co., Lake Orion Fire Fighters Association and Cintas.
We’d also like to thank our prestigious doorman Bud. The children from Christ the Redeemer church did a wonderful job creating the beautiful placemats.
We also extend a very special thank you to all of the people who worked so hard at the restaurant serving, preparing and delivering food, as well as the cleanup crew. We have a wonderful group of volunteers; some new faces as well as our seasoned veterans.
We are very, very blessed to have so many great people helping out our community. This year marks the 40th year that the free Thanksgiving dinner has been a tradition in Lake Orion and the 21st year for CJ’s.
Leftover food was taken to Grace Centers of Hope. Leftover money will be donated to the Lake Orion Lions Club for their Christmas Basket program.
Thank you again!
Sincerely,
Carl & Joan Slomczenski
